The fascist psyche of growing up in cults of lovelessness, sexual repression, internal fear and weakness, and shadow thrives on the fictional creation of an enemy so vivid, so grotesque, that violence against it can be justified. They long not merely to demonize the majority that aren't in their minority cult of dark imperial fake supremacy, but to provoke that other into striking back. Because the moment the patriotic people of dissenting voices are baited into violence, then the fasct clowns can don the mask of the victim and say, “See, we were right all along. They are dangerous. They must be controlled.”

It is the same game that schoolyard bullies play, but writ large upon the political stage. They taunt, they insult, they try to strip away dignity, all with the hope of eliciting a punch. And the punch is then the justification for escalation, for repression, for the tightening of the wanna be authoritarian yet actually pathetic grip. Fascism requires chaos to sell order, it requires violence to sell security. Without the spectacle of blood and broken glass, its promises fall flat.
