Essiac Tea Famers

Check out these links after listening to the exclusive for patron "A Tea Said To Cure Cancer" essay.

Here are the two websites serving the US and Canada which contain the supposed real Essiac Tea herbal combination, with the "Sheep Sorroel" roots which are said to be the secret ingredient and main Essiac herb that causes regression of metastasized cancer and reduction of tumors. Which is, surprise surprise, left out of the much cheaper versions of the tea which are much more easily findable online.

I ordered mine from Humbleweed and her service was great. She (the seller) even included a lovely conspiratorial pamphlet in the packaging about how crazy bad telecommunications (WiFi, Cell Phones, and MicroWaves) are for us.

For international orders, this 1994 style website with very difficult to read text and links gives insight:

Essay: A Tea Said To Cure Cancer (Exclusive For Patrons)

So this essay is PRECISELY the reason we have a members section. To keep some of the more juicy and perhaps controversial information / claims / research within an initial set of castle gates.

Cancer is a very sensitive subject yes. Many of us may have lost a loved one to cancer. My mom’s cousin Ron, who was in his 70’s just died of cancer last year. I myself had a bit of what you might call “a cancer scare” a couple months back. Before a creepy virus had become a global problem, there was a weird poke / inner lump in my lower throat / upper esophagus which was not going away. Even after a couple months! That was a bit freaky because Ron died from esophageal cancer. I had an endoscopy and even though they didn't find anything, it felt immediately way better after that and has since finally gone away. Leading me to believe it was a small bone or plastic part of my night teeth retainer which had gotten lodged in there and the endoscopy camera dislodged it.

I had known about various claimed natural cancer cures for numerous years, (see the episode of the podcast with Greg Carlwood in which we went over a list of them) and had sent basic information on Essiac Tea and Rick Simpson Oil to Ron via e-mail after his diagnosis, but never got a reply to the e-mail. He died about 6 months later after undergoing chemotherapy.

These two incidences got me back researching some of these claimed alternate natural cures. Mainly Essiac Tea and Rick Simpson Oil. Due to my own experience, I might take this essay and use it as the script and voice over for a potential future short documentary film on Essiac, with footage of me sharing a bit of my cancer scare story as a prologue. But will see if that actualizes as the next short doc in due course, as that would take weeks if not months of work when a spoken word essay can be banged out way quicker and be almost just as effective in terms of reach.

Of course please do your own research. As all information on this subject feels valid to me, there's always more to learn regarding. Personally, I have acquired a bag of the real tea herbs and have been and plan to continue to take a small amount of Essiac tea daily from now on as a preventive measure.

Shamans of The Global Village Episode 2: Commentary Track

Hop off of the dark wand of fear-based "news" media and over to this commentary Track with Rak Razam and your's truly from Shamans of The Global Village Episode 2: José Luis Ramírez & The Peyote Cactus. It's Rak and I talking about the episode while it plays in its entirety.

We're going to be including this in the $10 download version of the episode releasing hopefully in the next few weeks here publicly, but this private link is given away here with my thanks to you fine folks.

*Disclaimer, when you do a commentary track you can't really stop the recording (because it has to be in real time) and I started losing my voice in the second half of this. Hence, it's not me bringing my all and I'm slightly boring in the second half as a result of limited speaking ability without constantly coughing all over the microphone. Rak is always eloquent and amazingly well spoken, so he saved this one.

Blood Road

1.jpg

Immediate documentary recommendation share #2! The feature doc Blood Road- http://bloodroadfilm.com/

The sales pitch:

Blood Road follows the journey of ultra-endurance mountain bike athlete Rebecca Rusch and her Vietnamese riding partner, Huyen Nguyen, as they pedal 1,200 miles along the infamous Ho Chi Minh Trail through the dense jungles of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Their goal: to reach the crash site and final resting place of Rebecca’s father, a U.S. Air Force pilot shot down over Laos some 40 years earlier.

Nicholas Shrunk is the director. He's one of very few documentary filmmaker's who could definitely give me a run for the money on the beauty of the directing, cinematography, edit, and music. All top class in this touching story about a woman learning more about her family's history.

This film was made with a decent budget though. As it was able to come into manifestation through Red Bull's (the drink) Media House branch which does quite a bit of doco extreme sports content.

Baraka and Samsara

samsara-baraka_zpsd4f32003.jpg

In an effort to always share content which this author deems valuable, we're going to start including links to other documentary films. As a documentarian (perhaps a snooty way to say documentary filmmaker, but hey, I document conversations and photography as well) myself, one must acknowledge that there is a stratospheric amount of garbage film content out there.

As the years go on, less and less of it is watched and even trailers are not even watched in their entirety and instead oftentimes skipped through with eye rolls. Due to their usually "independently angled" journalistic aspect, documentaries are higher consciousness than most narrative features. So that is why we are keeping these recommendations to that genre.

Outside of every nature documentary David Attenborough has affiliation with, the first and most obvious are the two films Baraka and Samsara. They are none narrative with voice-over. Meditatively focusing on natural events, life, human activities and technological phenomena and are extremely good. One could even say, have been extremely influential on yours truly and Transmutation.  The main filmmaker most responsible for them is Ron Fricke. Who had previously helped shoot Koyaanisqatsi as well. I don't know what the hell Ron is doing these days and why he hasn't made another film since Samsara is nearly 10 years old now. Especially since larger formate video cameras now have become so much smaller, more portable, affordable, and thus democratized.

Yes, I have tried to contact Ron numerous times, for networking and perhaps a podcast, and have never heard back.

f.lux

Looking at computer screens late at night, and thus a daylight spectrum of light (approximately 5500K color temperature) late at night? Well, that can hinder your sleep since your body thinks its still daytime. "f.lux" fixes this by adjusting the color of your computer's display to adapt to the time of day, warming up the color temperature at night and keeping it cool sunlight during the day.

It can also be used in accordance with home lighting as well.

Heart attack through 'evil fats'? Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride

Since basically everything is mirrored back to front in unreality, here's a talk highlighting that in terms of diet.

For the last 40-50 years, Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride has fought against “bad” cholesterol and “evil” fats. In this talk she explains how useful and healthy cholesterol is for us, reducing the risk of heart attack, preventing arteriosclerosis, increasing fertility, and more.

This is part 1 of 3 and here's the direct links to all of them:

Shameless Ask

So every once in a while, no matter how true to themselves one aims to be, we occasionally slum into small doses of commercialism. While having done everything else to jettison all dopamine farm anti-social media (topic of upcoming essay), this is still done by yours truly by having this Patreon page, as well as an extremely rare e-mail list send out. I will slum again today to straight up make a shallow and commercial request and ask you to please go to Death Star iTunes (and/or any of the other podcast aggregates below that might allow for it) and give the podcast a top star rating there if you haven't ever done so to date? Also, if you feel up for it, a nice review.

https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/novelty-generators-podcast/id825076464?mt=2

The deal with iTunes seems unknown anymore, as apparently Apple is starting the gears moving toward killing it in their last keynote. The podcast there has an old URL which I can’t get to update, as well as an old version of the logo which I also can't get to update. I could mostly care less about if the page there was gone tomorrow, except for the fact that anytime one researches podcast traffic it’s constantly claimed that iTunes is really the vast majority of the marketplace. Which hopefully will be changing more with Spotify getting into the podcast game which has a nicer interface and embedding characteristics.

For the first couple years of the podcast it had 5 reviews which popped up on their own and that never changed until a couple years ago, when I send out my first “please rate and review” the podcast e-mail. Which shot it up toward 30 some reviews. Where it has sat static ever since. It’s low on this priority list to commercialize the podcast in any way, yet it never ceases to amaze me when I see far less superior podcasts which have ever growing reviews and ratings. And these are not from main stream podcasts, but supposedly are “spiritual or psychedelic” when they're actually just mainly, well... commercial. Knowing this has little to nothing to do with the quality of their content but instead because they constantly push audience to do so. The more ratings and reviews a podcast has on various platforms the more visibility the algorithms allow for. Thus it's still a bit of a chafe that their inferior content will be heard by so many more ear holes than my own, so I'm working on finding balance with this.

This is also being asked here because you are a core crew who I know, give a shit the most! Which is always appreciated. Anyway, thank you for listening and this post will self-destruct in 5 seconds.

We Plants Are Happy Plants

If you're feeling like the dark sorcery of the world is a bit overwhelming and just want to tune into some yummy brain / heart food, uploading to some Deus Ex McKenna is always a good recipe. There are numerous YouTube channels which fill that urge and We Plants Are Happy Plants is one such channel. It mainly consists of Terence Mckenna and Alan Watts talks. Many of the Mckenna talks which distribute throughout the web originate from Lorenzo Hagerty and The Psychedelic Salon, but somehow many of the one's on this channel manage to be quite fresh.

Book Share: Creative Mind And Success by Ernest Shurtleff Holmes

This one's not on the reading list but it's worth your time. As usual, the author has long passed, hence my sharing here. Written in 1919, it's Creative Mind And Success by Ernest Shurtleff Holmes. What will likely be the next essay discusses Holmes and this book.

Holmes was an American New Thought writer and teacher. He was the founder of a Spiritual movement known as Religious Science, part of the greater New Thought movement, whose spiritual philosophy is known as "The Science of Mind."

Much like Neville Goddard, Holmes taught New Thought in a Christian context in his church, so hence the heaviness of the use of the word “God” here. It’s always nice to see someone who claims they are a Cristian actually embodying the teachings of Christianity. Which Holmes often did and is quite rare.

Here are two versions which are easily findable online with my audiobook conversion of the 2nd edition.

"Terra Incognita" Footage: 5 Ship Jump

DISCLAIMER: This is never before filmed footage that is very sensitive and for your eyes only please.

So if the first episode of Shamans of the Global Village wasn’t shocking enough, Rak Razam and I have also been collaborating for years of side work on this “Terra Incognita” project. Which is part shamanic ritual, part science, and part mocumentary/documentary. The storefront facade website and details surrounding it can be found here - http://www.terra-incognita-project.org/

The original concept for this was based on a 1983 science fiction novel by the American author Norman Spinrad called The Void Captain's Tale. In the novel a group of people engage in group inner space travel. This is of course not science fiction, as shamanic experiences can be done in groups. In fact, real deep work is not just individual, but group work. A group of people take a sacrament together and do a "jump" and form a "ship" to travel together in hyperspace. MUCH more to discuss with this, as I am a member of this team which Rak has put together over the years which engages in this practice. Sometimes I've been part of the ships, but the majority of the time I am the one filming. This footage, shot numerous years ago, filmed one such event. As a single take as well which as a filmmaker I'm quite proud of.

This jump was accomplished in a magical ceremonial context with the practitioner having affiliation with the OTO (Ordo Templi Orientis). It's the typical deal which much of my work faces where we can't show what's going on inside of the subjects on screen and thus you only see their outside meat bodies. Which they themselves might have left for a period of time during that filming. So to the un-initiated this just looks like a group of hippies on drugs. Yet, there is so much more going on here esoterically.

Most real occultists or esotericists have little to no interest in having their practices be filmed. Trust me I know, as I've asked John Michael Greer, Josephine McCarthy and others to do documentaries and to this date, they have turned me down. However, this OTO affiliated individual who administers the "Lamp of Light" for this jump is a very special person who always wishes to remain anonymous. Yet he his a friend of Rak and I who allowed us a very rare opportunity to film this ritual practice around a shamanic jump.

There are SO MANY layers to this project with the years of footage that I have sitting on a couple hard drives, and to be honest, Rak and I aren't even sure what to do with it at this point. Regardless of that, I will unpack much of this in future essays, and of course the film will shine light on all of this whenever we complete it many moons down the line.

*Another thing to note is that about 5 of the people in this footage have been on my podcast. So follow that trail if you wish.
