Sturgeon's Law: 90% of Everything is Crap

"Sturgeon's Law" is a quite hilarious and cynical observation named after him as a response to criticisms about the quality of science fiction literature during his lifetime which concluded in 1985. Probably during some late night conversation with a fellow sci fi lover they came to the co-conclusion that 90% of sci fi is crap, and then he applied that to 90% of everything. Hence Sturgeon's Law states: "90% of everything is crap."

The Importance Of Asking Questions

In order to have a superior exchange over the narrow canyons of average thought, discourse cannot be unilateral, if you know that word - being any doctrine or agenda that supports one-sided action. It must be a reciprocal discussion, of give and take, statement and question, to rise up out of a shallow canyon and see some level of horizon one must ask instead of only speak. For we have two ears and one mouth and they are to be used proportionately.
